Weddings: An Intimate Lake House Beachfront Wedding Day in Michigan

No one expects their wedding to be effected by a pandemic. Gabrielle & Zach were originally planning to get married at a large estate up in the mountains of Malibu with a very Italian/Tuscan vibe. With COVID-19, their plans quickly changed to an intimate ceremony at their lake house in Union Pier, Michigan. Union Pier was a really special place for their family as Gabrielle’s parents got engaged there and then her family has spent almost every summer there. Over the last 10 years of Zach and Gabrielle’s relationship, she brought him up to MI with her and it has since become a special place for both of them. So it just makes sense to have their ceremony there!

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing their day was. Their new intimate wedding day included just their immediate family and there was SO much joy that it was contagious.. The day turned out to be breathtaking with the most gorgeous golden light and magical sunset including a sparkler exit!
